Hi Team - Having the option to put the call in the call park & not have it ring to anyone but be able to tell someone that there is a call in call park 1 for them so that individual can pick it up would be very helpful. As of now, every single person's phone rings as soon as a call was in park one and everyone is alerted who was in the call park on the screen.

  2. Add Partner of Record login access to any account a Partner has sold/installed with admin access per authorized user. This would allow using our own log in credentials to access client accounts and provide an audit trail of who was the users making changes.     Customer needs to sometimes move users between Sites (in the admin portal)

    When creating a site, it prompts users to select a cost center to tie to the site.

    Once a user is moved from Site A to Site B, the expectation is that the cost Center would automatically adjust from Cost Center C to Cost Center D.

  6. We are applying for TCR SMS for our company. I was just told that ONLY 1 extension can send out SMS from the main company number. This is not very useful since we need multiple users to be able to send out SMS from the main company number!

  8. We have noticed that Non-Super Admin users can elevate themselves to "Super Admin."   9. auto delete SMS after a day on a user level

    or SuperAdmin capability to manage data retention policy for a user level

    If you log in as SuperAdmin on the RC App> click on Settings > Administration> Messaging> Manage beside Manage data retention policy, you can set it to delete after 1 day. This will delete other messages too like voicemails and faxes.
    This however would apply to all users for the account so possible we can apply this to only one user.

  11. I am on the phone with Ring Central customer service right now and he is guiding me through posting this.Ring Central is false advertising that it has Group Text Messaging. The customer service rep confirmed with senior tech support that it's not true. A Ring Central user can start a group text message; however, responses from non-Ring Central phone numbers don't come back into the group, they come back individually. Which defeats the purpose.   14. When (re-)connecting the RC application to a Microsoft Exchange account, the user has to provide the following data in order to complete that task successfully:

    • their email address or domain\username
    • their password
    • their Exchange server version
    • their exchange EWS url

    Out of these four (or five, if you count emails and domain\user separately), many users will have two readily available: email and password; some maybe even only know their password.

  16. When you have the desktop App and the Plug-In parallel working and you have a call/conference started on the desktop App, the presence status on the Plug-In does not change - (much more you somebody can call you - you know: no consistent busy management as we know - other topic).

  19. When downloading SMS logs, the user is only getting the metadata. It would be very helpful if the content of the SMS can also being included in the data being downloaded from the logs. I understand that it is available when backing the data up with Archiver. But not all account has the feature.

  20. Using the Plug-In 'Ringcentral for Outlook' you can create and send a meeting invite to one or more contacts in your Outlook. You can start a phone call to an Outlook contact directly from the Plug-In too.If you are creating a conference invite short-term it would be very beneficial to see in Outlook the RingCentral the presence status of the invitees.
