  3. It would be beneficial to allow the addition of extra numbers to an sms thread, including the message history, without creating a new group text. If our CSR is messaging a customer and wants to loop in their manager it should be a simple addition and all history should be shared.

  7. When I am texting with someone, often times, the icon that appears around the initials of their name is the EXACT same color of the icon that appears around my initials. This often leads to me missing texts since it looks like I was the last person to respond. There NEEDS to be a way to differentiate the numbers in the chat. Bare minimum, drastically different colored icons per number included in the chat, different shapes would be even better!

  8. It would be very useful if any new number added to the account(s) be automatically added to the SMS Campaign otherwise it will be a step administrators will forget to do and the new phone user will not be able to use their text function.

  9. General messages come to my assistant's phone and I need to be able to access them. I can access her voicemail messages using my assistant's voicemail PIN, but would like a way to access my assistant's text messages too, possibly through delegation feature, or any other way that would make this possible. Would like to be able to access them in the RingCentral Desktop App.

One is able to mark texts unread in order to flag them for future reference when using the RingCentral app, however, when using the desktop application, this is not possible. sometimes if there is a response from the patient/client and the application happens to be open to that text thread, it is marked as read when it hasn’t been noticed before the user clicks away onto another section of the desktop application and is therefore missed. Otherwise, when the text actually is read, but needs to be marked as unread so it can be returned to later, there is no…

  12. As a mortgage bank using ringcentral for our Loan Officers, processors and underwriters, disclaimers and opt outs must be available to all communications with borrowers and clients. Legally we must have them on all emails but in using SMS with Ringcentral we are unable to do so and it is protenatilly causing us to change our future plans with RingCentral...whcih we do not want to do!

  16. Service Providers that use software to send texts and mms. Other softwares have selectable providers like Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile,ATT etc. for example, Verizon is vtext.com. example 4075551212@vtext.com. Something like sending a fax to 4075551212@rcfax.com, to have a rctext.com or rcmms.com would be great. (But how could you charge for it to the sender lol. Probably why its not a feature to consider!

  18. We are sending texts to our clients all the time. To personalize this, we sometimes like to instead send them a little video in which we thank them in person, introduce the company, etc etc, different themes in different videos. With just 1.5 MB limit per video in SMS, this is impossible. It would be an absolute awesome addition to our client approach and make us stand out to competition as well.

  19. Im a small business owner and looking to have one central location or hub that is shared between multiple users (extensions). For example: Phone calls, SMS, Voicemail, and missed calls can be viewed and responded by all users under one umbrella. Currently and specifically SMS & Voicemails go to one specific extension (say extension 101, but ex 102 should also have access to those SMS and Voicemails) and only that extension has access to it, which clogs the system of communication. ALL extensions should have the ability to hear voicemails and respond to SMS in the central location or hub.…
