  1. A feature to send a text chain and have it go to multiple clients without them seeing who else gets it similar to a bcc email. Texts can have a planned send time. A text chain, for example, text 1 goes out today but text 2 will be going out in a week, text 3 another week etc. I want to be able to plan a text to send at a date and time in the future.

  2. Reply stop option to one particular email/text to stop receiving messages

    I want to do is reply STOP to one particular email/text so I stop receiving messages from that one particular number.

  4. App does not honor user role settings to prevent SMS company template creation

    We have a custom role applied to user to prevent them from adding company SMS templates but it still allows them to create via the texting interface.

  5. We would like to recommend that RingCentral consider leading an industry-wide initiative to advocate for the support of more than 10 segments in a single SMS message. While we understand that current limitations are influenced by underlying carrier policies and industry norms, we believe that RingCentral is in a strong position to pioneer a change that would benefit a wide range of customers who rely on longer-form SMS for essential communication.

  12. When exchanging SMS we need to know the business name for the contact. Currently only the name is displayed when the contact is already saved and we need to hover around the contact, open profile and then look for the business name.

  13. The latest update for the RingCentral desktop app changed the way people send SMS messages - it opens a new small window for every new SMS message to a new contact. I'd like there to be a way to toggle between the new layout and the old, as many agents in my company reported disliking the new feature as it slows down their productivity.

  14. This week (around March 4th, 2025), the desktop version of RC changed so I can no longer see the SMS history when sending a new text message. I want to be able to type in a number or contact name and see the history of the text thread instead of a blank window with nothing of the previous messages. Please switch it back!

  15. I am being inconvieanced by the new text messsage dialog not just opening up the thread of messages between the contact but making you write the new message in a dialog instead. It would be helpful if we can see first the SMS thread before asking to compose and send a new message

  18. In the RingCental Phone app, have the SMS/Text notifications respect the users Schedule.

    This would have the app not make any notifications for a text message outside of the users scheduled hours. This would behave just as it does for the phone aspect. If a users schedule is set to 9-5, the phone would not ring from 5:01 to 8:59 the next day. Text message notifications should behave the same. When a user is then in their normal schedule, they would see the new text notification just like they see a missed call notification.

    If the customer requests not to be contacted anymore by sms. Block for all of Organization to send sms to that customer.

Whenever the customer do an auto reply, auto send via SMS to different numbers , they want to have the ability to identify or get a notification if the receiving number is an invalid number, either landlines that cannot receive messages, or if messaging to those numbers are not allowed or provisioned by their carrier. They should not get an error that says "Message cannot be sent".
