  3. We need to implement the following:

    • No External Dial by Extension in IVR
    • No External Dial by Directory in IVR
    • No External Dial by DID
    • But allow internal calls and transferring external calls to the users.

    Essentially, they should not receive any phone calls from outside parties without being transferred by someone internally.

  4. Mitel phones, such as the 6940W, should show the proper caller ID of presence synced users vs a BLF string. Currently, the call history on these devices show a BLF string, which is confusing to customers. The ask is to have the proper caller ID for the user show during the call at all times and in the call history at all times.

  6. A way to easily block all external incoming calls but only allow select internal extensions to call extensions.

    The idea is to prevent anyone from outside the company from calling the select phone and allow people within the company to call those devices/phones.

    The use case for us is we are using Ring Central with Algo Intercom devices and would like to control who can call the intercoms. We do not want any spam calls that can call our intercoms.

  7. If someone's name is saved with an accent, it will not appear when searched for in the dial-pad using a non-accented character.

    For example, if someone's last name is saved as España and you search for Espana that user will not appear in the search.

    -This issue is reproducible by support as well. COOPS-9133 is open for this - a formal feature request was requested, hence this also being opened.

  12. Remove the dial pad from the column next to the Calls and Voicemail tabs. It is more convenient to have the dial pad on the right side so we can easily dial a number from the call history. Or have the option to have the dial pad be dragged on the right side like how it used to.

  13. Disable the Accidental Key Press

    If we can disable the key press where in if the caller accidentally press any number or dial key it will do nothing and will not be routed or transferred to other extension where the call is not intended for.

  15. Feature request:
    Ability to redirect all second calls AUTOMATICALLY from the RC App, when the user is already on a call.

    Scenario: The customer does not want agents to need to take an action when they are already on a call. Nor do they want the 2nd caller to wait while the call is redirected manually. The call waiting feature does not cover this scenario. If you enable "call waiting" it still asks the agent to decline manually and the caller gets a busy tone. If you disable call waiting it will send the call to voicemail instead.

  18. Enable customers to self-serve the addition of TAS Bypass Numbers in Service Web. When a Direct Number is added to a user, present a checkbox to allow them to select the number to be conditioned for TAS Bypass. The system would then auto-provision (condition) the number. The system/portal should also visibly indicate which numbers they have conditioned for TAS Bypass.

  19. For sales campaigns or business who depends on outbound calls, they may have phone numbers in their list that they need to call that are either disconnected, unavailable, or simply an invalid number. Most carriers would announce an error message depending on the status of the dialed number.
