  1. Hi. Our customer is suggesting that we should have an option to disable/enable the call waiting in our RingCentral application. This is specific for direct calls. So if a user is already engaged on the call, we can disable the call waiting to prevent another call to be connected to the user who is already engaged, and the call should be connected to the Voicemail. We can imagine that call waiting may be kinda annoying to some users as their app will be ringing while already on a call.

  2. Zoom added their Universal Binary which supports their M1 chips without going through their Rosetta 2 emulation. I believe this would help RingCentral as I occasionally experience application freezes on the M1 when trying to enable my camera / audio too quickly after loading into a meeting or trying to share my screen. I believe natively supporting the M1 would resolve those issues.

  3. It would be useful so that you can forward a voicemail message to another user. From the App you would click on the phone icon, all voicemail, click on the three dots, and then there would be a forward option, and you could forward it to another extension.If you were to call in and check your voicemail, you could forward from the IVR and add a message, similar to a supervised call transfer, but this would be a supervised voicemail message transfer.

  4. Currently, all configured extensions are published in the RingCentral Office Directory. Enable administrator the option to choose whether or not a telephone extension is published in the RingCentral Office directory

  5. When calls RollOver to another queue, they do not show the number that it is trying to RollOut too. This used to be a feature in the old RingCentral Phone App. The app should in include a "From" to indicate that the call came from one extension, and rolled to another.

  6. We would like to the ability to use any number we own in our system as caller ID for any user, regardless of which site they are associated with. When Multi-Site settings are in use, only numbers associated with Company Site can be shared across the system for use as caller ID.

It seems you used to have this feature in the phone only app: https://support.ringcentral.com/article/RingCentral-Phone-Desktop-Reduce-Mute-Other-Sounds-Windows-During-Call.htmlThis needs to be added to the new 3 in 1 app as well. It's a pain to mute music or other sounds when a call comes in. Thanks.

New Layout Dial Pad: (To “merge” conference the call, need to click on “Call list” then hover over call on hold and select the “merge” option)This is making it harder for our users to "Merge' calls. Can we get the functionality added back into the new app? Workaround: Switch the MVP App to the Old Layout but we don't know how long it will be around.

  10. Please enable International MMS - or even better can you please support RCS both domestically & internationally - as that is a useful feature to send high quality images. RCS would be much better and is the latest standard as far as I'm aware - would like to be able to utilize this which is becoming common across carriers for picture/video delivery.

  12. I work in a help desk capacity and I think an extremely useful feature might be a toggle for Auto DND mode while computer is locked. I primarily answer calls on my computer and would like to be able to step away from my desk and return without having to set my presence. It would have to also restore available presence when computer is unlocked as well, assuming presence was set automatically and not manually.

  15. I hope we will have an option to create an auto response in SMS so whenever someone sent SMS we can send them an auto response. It will be very beneficial for every company and will saves time.

  19. Currently, our office is set up so that when receiving or making a call, users can use either their desk phone or the RingCentral desktop app if their computer has a microphone. Most of our users prefer to use the desk phone, or need to due to not having a microphone with their computer, but find the desktop app's UI to be easier to understand and use than the desk phone's interface. It would be nice if it was possible to use the desktop app's interface to do things such as forward a call, put a caller on hold, and…
