New Layout Dial Pad: (To “merge” conference the call, need to click on “Call list” then hover over call on hold and select the “merge” option)This is making it harder for our users to "Merge' calls. Can we get the functionality added back into the new app? Workaround: Switch the MVP App to the Old Layout but we don't know how long it will be around.

  2. I hope we will have an option to create an auto response in SMS so whenever someone sent SMS we can send them an auto response. It will be very beneficial for every company and will saves time.

  4. It would be very useful for business owners to be able to add themselves to all voicemail boxes as co-recipients, that way they can easily access all voicemails. Currently the limit of voicemail boxes per co-recipient is 5. It would be helpful to increase this number or make it unlimited.

  5. Currently, our office is set up so that when receiving or making a call, users can use either their desk phone or the RingCentral desktop app if their computer has a microphone. Most of our users prefer to use the desk phone, or need to due to not having a microphone with their computer, but find the desktop app's UI to be easier to understand and use than the desk phone's interface. It would be nice if it was possible to use the desktop app's interface to do things such as forward a call, put a caller on hold, and…

  6. When you want to simultaneously ring non-RingCentral devices with your RC app, and you go to answer the call on that device, it will play an announcement to press 1 to confirm the call. You are able to disable that for your direct calls, but for Call Queue Calls, you cannot set the option to "never" or disable it.

  7. It would be useful so that you can forward a voicemail message to another user. From the App you would click on the phone icon, all voicemail, click on the three dots, and then there would be a forward option, and you could forward it to another extension.If you were to call in and check your voicemail, you could forward from the IVR and add a message, similar to a supervised call transfer, but this would be a supervised voicemail message transfer.

  8. With the release of the upgraded RingCentral app - we lost the function to Call Forward to an extension (app to app). The only Call Forward function is to a physical phone or device (ie: cell phone). This limits our office functionality and it doesn't make sense why this was not included with the "upgrade". Please consider fixing this issue.

Please create either a system wide MSI or EXE installer with auto update that can be installed with one user profile on a computer and be available with all other profiles old and new.Right now if we install using the exe installer it will auto update but the next user will need to have RingCentral installed on their profile. Or if we install using the msi installer under an administrator profile other users will also have RC available next time they log in but it doesn't get updates automatically and IT has to either push those updates out or manually…

  11. Answer phone calls with a keyboard shortcut (hotkey) when using the Ring Central App for desktops. Scrambling with the mouse to click on the answer button when receiving a phone call seems. The RC phone app has this feature, why wasn't it added to the ring central app?

  12. It would be nice to add external contacts within the company directory. We have a dozen contractors that we do not provide phones for and to be able to add their name and cell number in the company directory would be great to where we could dial by name (and even sms/mms their phone and all other features would be grayed out, etc.).

  15. Customers want to add additional settings or enhance the existing keyboard shortcuts in the RingCentral app, so that they may use customized hotkeys to answer calls even while they are working on another application, and even if the app is closed, it should work.

  17. We have a RingCentral account that has many daughter companies under one account. Each daughter company has its own main number, but the softphone will show the parent organization's account number as the "Main Company Number". I can only assume that other accounts are in the same predicament, uncommon though it may be. We would like the ability to choose what sites can see the different company numbers, choose to only show a user the phone numbers assigned to their site, or at the least hide the Main Company Number from the users.

Hi RingCentral, please enable the feature on the new app where the call queues can receive voicemails through the App instead of their work emails.If that feature can be enabled that will help tremendously helpful for my team. That is one of the main reasons we decided to choose RingCentral for our phone line.

  20. Just like the RingCentral softphone, the RC App needs a way to ALWAYS bring the RC App to the front/foreground when an incoming call arrives. This is critical especially for IVR Agents that need to take the call. Today, one has to click on the taskbar notification, then the RC App appears. Only then can the agent accept of reject the call.
