  1. I use a lot of different zaps with Glip. Manually adding users to each team is time consuming. I'd like to be able to assign users to groups and then assign those groups to each Team. That way I can add a new user to a group and have them automatically added to each team chats that that group is a member of.

  2. When an Administrator inputs a certain date for the Data Retention Policy, previous messages stay intact. We would like to see the previous messages prior to the time of entry to no longer be visible. If you click the 'Learn More' link on the UI, it goes to a non-existent link so the product feedback is 'please improve the text' for this feature, there is no indication that the retention policy STARTS from the time of entry.

  3. Currently we have the setting set to show the called number on the call queue but it is only working on a desk phone and RingCentral Phone App. Hoping we will also have this working using the RingCentral App

  5. Custom roles and permissions are currently available only for RingCentral Office Premium and Ultimate subscribers. That should be a standard feature and should be available to Standard subscribers.Not having access to custom roles limits our ability to hide messages, meetings, and teams from our users - functionality that we already get from Microsoft Teams. Seeing these redundant features in the RingCentral app will only confuse our users and make their experience objectively worse. We use RingCentral strictly for phones and should not need to pay extra to get access to fewer features.

  7. If "Take message" is not enable, when they have the option o transferring the caller to a group or to disconnect the call. Obviously discounting the call is bad customer service, however transferring to a group is not always the best option. WE would like another option added which will allow the called to be transferred to the staff member that first transferred the call

  8. Hi there,We just made an internal investigation and not all of the conference call are being recorded. Why is that so? Your Facebook Support said that it isn't possible but we were able to record conference calls that we use for training. But, when we pull up other calls for other customers, call recordings are incomplete and only saved Inbound and Outbound calls. All conference or 3-way calls are not recorded.

  9. It would be great to be able to import a Calendar from an account that isn't Google or Microsoft. Importing an *.ics calendar file would allow us to better utilize the calendar presence feature. Similarly, it would be great to be able to schedule meetings to this calendar as well so that it better integrates with our internal GroupWise environment.

Currently there is a field in Ring Central that allows for users to set their status to in a meeting or Out of office, as well as a fillable field where you can write notes alerting internal users of important details. These fields are unavailable to feed into the Bridge OC which does not allow for Reception team to easily identify where internal staff is without using a secondary tool and prolonging call hold or handle times.

  12. ☐I have sales department that for training purposes would like to access call log for their own department. I don't want them to be in manager/admin group because they should not see call log of management or CEO.

  14. On RingCentral mobile, the contact/directory feature does not have the same abilities as on desktop. For example: On the desktop RC Phone app, I can filter by site so I can see all users in a particular site. Another example is searching on title. "Branch Manager". The mobile app does not see this information.

  16. I'm trying to edit a "guest" profile in app.ringcentral.com. When logged in, I click on the contacts tab and select a guest contact. Their info comes up - but no option to edit the info. I would like to add a phone number to their guest profile.

  20. When inputting a contact through app.ringcentral.com there is no option to add the person's extension without getting an error message. The only way to do this is to open the app on the phone where it will accept the extension by adding * and the number...but not on the web version.
