Audit Trail Enhancements
This idea is a combination of other ideas around improving RingCentral's RingEX Audit Trail feature.
Improve logging for all items that are added, moved, changed or amended within the Admin Portal.
As there are so many great ideas and suggestions for Audit Trail enhancements, we've merged them into one record to better track these feature requests. Your individual idea has not been lost, and our development team knows how important this part of the system is for everyone! We'll provide more updates when available. Thank you!
In the meantime, please continue to leave comments on your ideal audit trail enhancement and use cases.

We will like to know if you guys can add the call monitoring permissions to audit trial, we just had a situation where someone add one of director extension to the can be monitored permissions option with everyone in the company and we check the audit trial and there nothing there about the changes on the extension. SO we will like see if this can be done and soonthanks

This would be useful for admins to see timestamps of these upload in the audit trail. To have the ability to individually see all of the changes that have been made within that upload. This would allow for better tracking of information and of any changes that were made.

Currently audit train shows times that the status was updated, there should be a way to include a filed to summarize time in a particular status to track user availability

Would be nice to see the IP address of people trying to log in to the portal in the Audit Trail. This would help admins to work out if logins are genuine users or not.

Would be nice to be able to have the option of archiving the Audit Trail the same was as the call logs are.

I would like to be able to post a memo on the audit log after I make a change. This would be useful to notate why changes were made for others looking back in the future

If an admin disables an account we don't know who? Especially in very large accounts?

We would like to see who is making changes on account wide settings within Meetings currently it simply shows who visited the settings

When a site change is made (example, a user is re-assigned to a new site) that change does not show up in the audit trail in service web. Need to add the ability to see all site-related changes in the audit trail.

It would be helpful in larger organizations to see when a user becomes disabled and who disabled the account. We use audit trails for QA and offboarding verification for the many audits our company is subject to.

We need to be able to see what call recordings are being played, by whom, and the date and time they were played. This is so we can tell if anyone is browsing through call recordings in an inappropriate manner. It would be useful to have these details logged to the Audit Trail.

In the RingCentral app the team messages, We have the main team message that everyone gets added to automatically. Anyone can delete anyone else's message in the company. There is no way to audit who deleted the message, and also no way to revoke admin access from regular employees.

Wants to be able to see the SSO login attempts on audit trails so that we can check is the user used SSO or RC login credentials.

Audit changes to settings like Directory Integration, currently changes to this setting aren't audited

Recently, somehow our International Dialing feature was turned off, but we were unable to see when that happened or who made that change through the Audit Trail. Support told me that the "Billing" settings are not logged in the Audit Trail, but I think this would be useful for changes made to these global settings.

Audit trail does not indicate a timestamp or event when a user is Disabled. This is necessary for Tegna. APIs do support subscription to this event.

Customer has an audit team that needs to track changes made to their account. They do not want to assign them any additional priveliges in service web besides the audit trail function.
