  1. The Ring Central Phone would show the Call From number during the call. This was a great feature for when you would leave a voicemail you can provide the correct callback number. especially if you have multiple lines. however the phone app is being discontinued. I would like this feature moved into the new Ring Central App. Currently the App will sow the Call From number before the call starts (so you can change to a different number if you need). but as soon as you make the call it disappears.

  2. The pre-formatted message that comes up when you park a call in the desktop app is great! But it sends a text message. Our users are using Glip. Possible to give an option to copy text to a Glip instead?

  3. My business has 6 inbound numbers; one main and 5 fax lines. All SMS to any of the numbers is directed to a single extension. Currently, there is no way to tell for which number the text is intended. Identifying which line the text came in on would help us determine if it is simply a "robo-call" or a response to the sender is required.

  4. Currently there is no way to filter the logs using the status of the call, whether it is in progress. missed or answered. It would be great if we can add a filter to check the status of the call on the call log on the portal or on the application so that we can check easily how many minutes a current call is.

  5. I should not have to modify my RC Video details in the right panel to remove require password or to just by default meeting ID. I should be able to set those and have the plugin remember my settings.

  7. When using the RingCentral app on my multi-screen workstation, I will dock the app to the left side of my left screen. When a call comes in, the app will undock and 'restore' itself, forcing me to re-dock the app after every call.

  9. To be able to re-arrange tabs on the right panel. So for example I would like to keep the panel narrow (only 3 tabs) and am most interest in seeing "pinned", "task", "note" instead of "pinned", "files", "notes" without having to go to "..."

  11. When using the webhook on the Glip API, received messages in a Team show only the "like" and "bookmark" button. Over time the the history of received messages is getting long. It would be nice to be able to delete those messages without deleting the whole team, re-creating it again, and ending up with a new webhook token of the app added in the Team.

  12. The following backticks do not work on RC Unified app (screenshots attached) when they are actually suppose to work. As a result, RingCentral should add this backtick on the app. Triple backticks also are a feature of Markdown, so RingCentral should support all of Markdown backticks.

  13. Our subsidiaries do not want to see the parent company name at the top of their app. We have multiple DBAs and each is represented by a Site. I would like each user to see the name of their site rather than the parent company name.

Said simply - make it work the way it did in RingCentral (GLIP) Classic.On the left side nav for teams, there are the three dots for a sub menu for teams.Currently the options are:Mark as unreadOpen team profileNotification preferencesMove conversation to...In Classic there was a menu selection for "Post Message Via Email" that would get you the long nonsensical email address directly. Now you must select Open Team Profile and THEN click on ANOTHER three-dot menu. This seems like a huge step backward to essentially bury this function 2 more levels down.

  15. The old RC phone app included ALL users and extensions whether a unique email existed or not. The New App limits contacts to real user with unique email addresses. We have desk phones and virtual extensions within our company and it is impossible for all to have a unique email

  16. It would be handy to be able to watch or follow a conversation so that if someone replies to a message that you are interested in, you can be alerted. Use case:Colleague A writes a question into a team space. You also need to know the answer to the same question.Colleague B replies to Colleague A with the answer. If you could follow the conversation, then you would be alerted to the response.

  17. We have been long-term customers of RingCentral, and it seems we recall that we were able to customize the "Call Screening Prompt" years ago, but the feature is no longer available. We have been able to customize almost all aspects of our callers' experience except this one. We'd like to suggest that RC make it possible to upload your own custom prompt, rather than having the system-generated voice. It would make for a seamless experience!

  18. Some of my co-workers pre-maturely send unfinished messages by hitting enter. Their assumption is enter will move to the next line (as on email). Instead it sends half of their message and often creates confusion. It would be nice to have the option to toggle this on/off based on preference as you can do on Skype messaging (see screenshot attached)

  19. When using app.glip.com from a web browser to make a call. The absolutely ideal time to add the personal being called or calling to contacts etc is while on a call. Please an ability to add to contacts from the phone dial page. All after a call finishes and the number is still on the page in front of me I should be able to click and add to contacts right away. Cutting the number and going another page - is not a solution.

  20. When my RC app is minimized in my mobile phone screen or the mobile phone is on standby, the RC"app status" is grey (invisible). This "app status" in displayed to other agents when they try to transfer a call to me. This is confusing for them. Only when I open my app does my true"User status"(available, in a meeting, do not disturb) displays to other agents.
