  1. We use 3-digit office extension numbers. if you pause for a few seconds while direct-dialing another extension the call will time out. I want to be able to adjust the length of time to complete a 3-digit extension dial to 5, 10 and 15 seconds.

  2. When there is a new update available for the Windows RingCentral Phone app, it prompts the user to update it. If you have the app deployed using the ALLUSERS=1 switch, it will prompt for admin credentials to complete the update. It would be nice to be able to supply a configuration flag either in registry or while deploying (like SUPPRESSUPDATE=1) and then the user will not be prompted to update when one is available. This way, IT can install the app on their own machines without that flag set, and they will get the prompt. Then, they can retrieve the…

  3. Putting someone on hold and playing music is acceptable practice and usually a user will tell the other person on the line that they will be put on hold. A call flip however is primary used by the user to leave the office or return to the office while on the phone. This transition is so fast and smooth that hold music is not needed. It can also cause confusion to others on a call when they hear hold music when not expecting it. I request there be a setting to disable just the call flip hold music and not…

  4. Right now when we use the feature and customer is leaving a message in french, it takes the french message and put it through email but with the english module, resulting in something impossible to read since it doesn't pick up the right language.

  6. It would be nice to have the Job Title field added to the list of fields able to be added as a column in the User List in service web. Also add the Job Title field to the filter so I can filter by all users with the same job title.

  7. Hi there, i basically have 3 extensions on my account (admin one and dispatch team) the problem is that the dispatches can t see the calls that are being directed to the numbers i have. Same problem with recordings...can you guys add the recordings in all of my extensions and the ringcentral phone app...? please...its really important

  8. Allow users to record snippets of calls. If we turn on that ALL calls are recorded, it removes ability for agent to record snippets.

  10. I implemented a system for a customer that would like to be able to hear his phones ring over a CyberData Paging Amplifier and speaker system. Currently, this is not a feature of the RingCentral system.

  13. When the queue has no active members, it should be skipped, rather than the system polling and confirming that the queue is empty and forcing callers to wait while the system performs that check.

  14. Would like speed dials to be added to the phone to Park a call (P1, P2, P3 and P4). If someone calls in, I would like to press one of the speed dials and put the person on hold and then I can call upstairs or downstairs to the person they want to talk to and tell them that on P1 is so and so for them. They can go to there phone or any phone and press P1 button to talk to them

We have set up currently a call Queue for our Consumer Lines so that we can see in our reporting if a customer presses 1 for website or orders, press 2 for product questions, etc we can see how many customers have issues in these categories and how often. We do not want VM for these call Queue's, we are trying to get our customers to email instead and my recording even states to send email.

  16. I think it would be excellent capability for an Out of Office message to allow a caller to choose to leave a message on the direct line of the person they called, or be forwarded to a backup person (without establishing an IVR).

RingCentral App Feature request: When using multiple speaker and microphone devices on a given system, callers can be unsure of whether their microphone is working, especially when leaving a voice mail to which the call recipient cannot verify the caller is being heard, perhaps if they have not selected the appropriate microphone device.   18. The ability to add contacts per phone number within RingCentral. For example, your corporation has subsidiaries that perform separate and distinct functions, and each company has a separate phone number and associated contacts/clients, and all numbers are managed under the one RingCentral account.The ability to add callers to specific phonebooks for specific phone numbers being managed by RingCentral.

  20. When block all calls is turned on for an extension currently you are only able to add area codes and DIDs to the whitelist. This becomes an issue when the same CID is used for all devices, as allowing the CID would enable all devices to call the blocked extension. If the ability to whitelist extensions was added this would allow whitelisting of a single device.
