this would be useful because a lot of customers don't want to have to login to the web portal to do this. they want a button programmed on the handset that they can just push to turn on and off.

Same goes for the RC PC App. if it can be done in there as well by just toggling a switch on and off. many customers would love the convenience that would bring them.
