"Modern" call pickup functionality. If you have to build a group, then put people in that group. Anyone in that group should just hit a button or code, to answer any ringing phone in that group. Having to enter the extension is redundant and excessive. If you are in a cube farm, you don't know what ext is ringing.

I agree call pick up on groups / call queues is essential. At present, if you have configured call pick up on the desktop app (beta), and try to call pick up a call queue call then it just disconnects the call which is not a good customer experience.
The work around is to wait for the call to ring round the call queue until it calls you directly so you can answer rather than pick up. This is both distracting for the agent but also unnecessarily delays the time it takes to answer a customer call.
