Call Notification as Banner Rather Than Full Screen Takeover

In the old phone icon app, I could change my notifications so that it send me an alert when someone was calling my ring central line. I would have the choice to decide if I wanted to click on the notification which brought me to the app so I could answer the call or not. Now if I am on the phone using my regular number the ring central line keeps popping up in the middle of my call. I used to be able to be on my phone and then swipe the banner notification up so I didn't have to deal with it. Now I can't use my phone if someone is calling.
