We have call queues set up and when a call is waiting in a queue to speak with an employee, if that employee is logged into the queue but happens to be on a call, both parties on that call hear beeps.
Our employees do not use physical phones. They either use the desktop or mobile app.
I spent over 90 minutes chatting with RC support yesterday and setting up new extensions, removing call monitoring, removing and reinstalling the desktop and phone apps, etc. Just a whirlwind of "let's try this to see if it works", all the while there is no way to disable the beeping.
PLEASE add a feature to turn on/off the Call Waiting Beeping like there is to turn on/off the beeping for call recording.
Our employees and especially our customers do not like the beeping at all. Yesterday was our first full day being live with RC and every client said something negative about the beeping as it was cutting off the conversations.
The queues are not functional if there is not a way to turn off the Call Waiting Beeping. For us, the queues are useless, despite the fact that we had queues in our phone systems for 30 years.
