Must add live call notifications to Apple Watch! Merged
I use the ring central app on my iPhone in conjunction to my Apple Watch. My phone is on silent so that all notifications come from haptic notifications on my watch because it is less obtrusive. I can currently get missed call and voicemail notifications from ring central, but live calls do not come through as watch notifications do the call can be answered. I miss tons of business calls for this reason.
It makes zero sense to not offer this functionality. I don’t even care if I can answer the on my watch, I just want to know they are coming in so that I can answer them on my phone! Please implement ASAP.
Ring Central is all over the map. Focus on core competencies and not worrying about being the next Zoom. Get the basics down first.
This is my exact issue as well! I rely on the Apple Watch for notifcations, and the one thing I can't be notified about is an incoming work call because RingCentral doesn't support such a basic feature as notification of an incoming call i.e. ringing on Apple Watch.
Thank you for reiterating what features your product will not do, the purpose of my post is to tell you what it SHOULD do. I don't understand Ring Central's stance of abandoning this integration with Apple Watch when more and more people rely on it every day.
At this time, the RingCentral for Apple Watch is no longer available for download. If already installed, the app will continue to work, and previously downloaded content will still be accessible.
However, no updates are being made to this feature at this time.
