Right now in RingCentral Application integrations are bound to the user who created them. This causes risk for our development teams as if someone departs the company who added a key integration, that feature breaks and will need to be recreated.
It might be worth pointing out however that while a developer "owns" the integration they create... technically the organization is the real owner. Meaning, if the developer leaves the company, the app remains in the Organization's account and can be edited by Developer Admins. One may also choose to change the Primary Contact for an app to redesignate someone else in the org to receive emails about the app should we need to reach out.
James,
Thank you for this feedback. I am the Product Manager for the Developer Console. I have some follow-up questions for you. When you speak of ownership in this context, what specifically do you mean? Are you referring to the ability to edit/manage a registered app? Are you speaking of the credentials used to authenticate with the app? There may be some projects we are working on to fix this issue, but I want to understand better what specifically you are referring to.
