In the Ideas Portal, we encourage you to share your ideas and feature improvements for RingCentral products. Universal App

Please create ONE UNIVERSAL APP. The reason being, GLIP is not the best functioning desktop app in this bundle of apps. To get through my day I have to use RingCentral Meetings, RingCentral Phone, RingCentral for Outlook (desktop program), and RingCentral widget for Gmail to include Google Calendar application. GLIP does not receive outbound calls as well as the other apps mentioned nor does it integrate well with other apps and programs that a business may use to schedule RC video and Conf. calls.


Please create ONE app for the desktop, ONE app for the mobile phone/device, and ONE widget for software and cloud-based programs. THERE ARE TOO MANY APPS. I work in an office with baby boomers in their 60's and although some of them won't admit they have trouble integrating these apps into their work life, they ABSOLUTELY DO. They can't keep up with all the maintenance and upgrades so I have to constantly take time out of my day to help them and it can be very time-consuming.


The self-help community options are useless to older people who don't know the difference between cloud-based technology and software, or the concept of automation or 1-click technology. Or who just do not keep up with the daily changes in day-to-day technology.


Please consider my request for one universal desktop, mobile device, and widget application.

    Hey! We'd like to help! The RingCentral app using RingCentral Video does all the things you have mentioned.
    There are a variety of integrations and ways to deploy the app to your whole team that will make it easy for everyone including you as the Admin.

    Have you connected with your Account Manager or dug into any of the trainings that exist in RingCentral University?
