Currently dial by name directory is for the entire orginazation only. It would be helpful to have dial by name directories that only list peolpe at a specific site.
We have offies all over the globe. Callers in Europe don't need US employees listed in the dial by name directory.
This feature is great since each site has a different business need. Also, the language recorded should be program locally or have the ability to customized like all other feature for call quee or IVR and also a must on "dial by name directory" as well. This is a standard globally where you can select/customize a language locally or English. Hope Ring Central would take this to a serious road map as soon as possible.
I wonder how long does it take RingCentral to implement this Idea as I see this thread is posted over an year back.
Same here - we have over 50 affiliated offices, but each one has direct numbers. After hours, the message says "dial 2 for our dial by name directory" but then you might get another person at another location, which leads to VMs being left at the wrong office. It makes zero sense to let callers access a company-wide directory. This should be an option that we can turn off or limit to our own location.
Dial by site would be good
Dial by extension list would be great too
