Becky, that 'functionality' is not a dashboard, and is only a function to add a tab, and is practically useless anyway. This 'idea' is to restore the Dashboard that was the original Glip had, and was the default view when first opening the app.

This functionality lives under Workspace which can be customized to sit in your list of tabs.

Yes, if using RC for calender and tasks as well, its absolutely imperative to put these front and centre, so that we can see teh overview of our day and importantly upcoming or overdue tasks! This was the main reason we adopted Glip in the first place. There isnt much point of having Tasks (and Calendar) feature if they are hidden. No wonder there is little support for this idea, when most people wouldnt know the feature is there.
