Join Meeting via web browser on mobile device Merged

An advertised benefit of using RingCentral Video is the ability to join meetings via web browser without downloading an app. Many meeting participants use mobile devices rather than a computer (desktop, laptop, notebook) to join a meeting. As it stands, using a computer, a participant can join via web browser only using Google Chrome & Chromium Edge 79. However, for RingCentral Video to truly stand out for not having to download an app, it is absolutely necessary for RingCentral to offer mobile phone and tablet users the capability to join meetings via web browser also—at minimum through use of Google Chrome mobile app; although Safari and Firefox need to be included for mobile and desktop use. Having not only desktop, but mobile web browser join a meeting options gives everyone the ability to have less stressed video meetings, this includes internal company team meetings and company to external client meetings. In short, it would beneficial for RingCentral Video to be able to be used for participants joining meetings via web browser using not only desktop but mobile devices also. The browsers that both desktop and mobile should support are Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. (Thank you!)

We are a healthcare facility with an older population that does telemedicine appointments. Forcing patients to download the app to join via cell phone is not desirable

Android and iOS tablets support WebRTC equally without installing an app. This makes attending a meeting even easier and more flexible.

BigBlueButten https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/gl/ supports this for both operating systems.

It would be a unique selling point to make this available in a business platform.

    Case: 14238288

Customer request: STEPS TO REPRODUCE: customer sent link to participants, participants click meeting link using their mobile phone, it required to download the RC mobile app before they can join

DESIRED BEHAVIOR: cx would like the participant to be able to join the meeting using a link even they are using mobile phone, without a download.
