We continue to get email messages from Ringcentral that our phone calls are being recorded. We already know this, we do not need emails constantly advising us of this.
I created another idea for this which can likely be merged into this one.
I think we should get a bit more control then simply an on and off switch for this though. I'll include my "idea" in this comment so it isn't missed if it is merged into this one.
Currently, users are emailed monthly that call recordings are setup for their account. However, the messaging in the email is very confusing and we have had multiple employee's create tickets for our helpdesk as they are confused why they are constantly getting the notification.
As well, due to the wording of the message, it is creating a lot of confusion for our users, as the current wording makes it seem like previous calls were not being recorded.
Finally, we would like to be able to customize how often these alerts go out, as we have had some employees complain about getting these messages monthly.
Summary of desired changes:
1. Allow edits to the templated email that is sent monthly, we should be able to edit the subject line as well as the contents of the message from the admin side
2. Allow customization of frequency of when these emails are sent. (Monthly, quarterly, yearly, never, etc)
Add to this the sending of an email for each Group/Queue that the staff member is in - multiple times - each time.
We then have a flurry of emails/calls about, 'what is this - why am I getting this' - every single time...
