Feature to rename participants in RCV
Whenever an upgrade is performed, Ring Central always removes a important feature. Why is that?
This is a major issue and needs to be resolved ASAP.
This seems like a basic feature and it is surprising it is still not available. Please add ASAP. It is very important to be able to identify call-in participants by name instead of phone number.
This is a very important feature my company requires for hosting meetings and we expected to have when we signed up. Huge problem for us. Please fix this ASAP.
This is a critical issue for my team as well. We need to be able to re-name individuals that dial in. "Guest" and "iPhone" are not helpful labels, when you have 12 people in a meeting. Please fix this.
This is critical for us (as a PDA and for non-profit board meetings) as if we have members who are joining via phone cant identify and rename our participants!
in the RCM we were able to rename participants who called in from cell phones so that we knew who it was - now with the transcription service available it's really hard when there are more than one person logged in as "guest". it would be SUPER helpful to have the ability to change the name to who they actually are back! I thought it was odd that RCV didn't have this same basic feature as the RCM.
If this isn't fixed very soon we will be leaving the platform - quite concerning that a move to the RCV platform = fewer features.
We have many people who call in to a video meeting, and now we dont know who each caller is. Also some people now just say guest. Allowing the host of the call to rename is critical!
Agree with comment-"This is a fatal flaw for my company."
Our users really miss the ability to rename themselves once they are in a meeting. We have a number of users who join as "Guest", but then we can't tell who is who.
