The method of using the mobile app and the desktop app in conjunction with the web login both worked, but the method is way too involved for the Users.
My customer requested this feature earlier today this is Important for their business and their current old system has this option - Option to change Caller ID on the Deskphone itself (Yealink/Cisco/Poly) without logging in to RC App or Portal

Hello. Thank you for sharing that article. However, we are looking for a faster way of changing the caller ID of the deskphone/hardphone.
The caller ID setting on the app will only apply when dialing out from the app. To change the deskphone's caller ID, we need to either login to the Admin Portal or go to Extension Settings on the app and make the change from there. Although both methods work, it involves too many steps.
Some Users also think that changing the Caller ID from the app will apply to all the phones (hardphone, mobile and desktop apps, etc.) associated with that extension, but it doesn't. It would be better if the Caller ID setting is properly labeled (ex. RC App Caller ID) or there is a note that the change will apply on the RC App only.
