Prevent app from minimizing to system Tray

When I log in the following day, open up Ring Central and go to take a call, the client is often bugged out and the call never comes through which If I were one of our customers that just waited on hold for 30 minutes only to find the person that connected can't hear me, it would piss me off. I've come to realize this is because the Application NEVER CLOSES when you press the close button. If I wanted to minimize it I would press the MINIMIZE button. This is a simple concept understood by every other application out there. At least Ring Central Classic had an option to turn this off but to bad that application no longer works. Forces you to get the new and broken application. If this application would simply close when I closed it and re-opened when I opened it this wouldn't be an issue. Used Ring central classic for over a year with no issues. Why was this feature removed???
