It would be nice to hear an audible notification when a new message comes through in the chats in case we need to step away from our desk or when multi-tasking for RC web/desktop app and RC mobile
The only time I don't receive an audible message notification is when the message screen is the main active window on my computer. If another window is in the foreground I get a notification. It would be nice to always get an audible notification that way if I'm away from my computer then I'll know someone is trying to reach me.
Is there a way to have an audible chat notification when there are incoming chats from Contact Center Max Agent?
Wendy, this feature does exist on the desktop app. I've added a screenshot here to assist. By clicking on the settings tab and then going to "Notifications and Sounds", you should be able to adjust your settings.
If this doesn't address your issue, please provide more details that we can include in your use case.
