Enabling one press Intercom from Polycom Deskphone

Our current set up on the desk phone allows us to call those employees set up our presence feature. There should be an option to change the settings so that instead of calling the user via one button press it instead intercoms that person.

    Hi Becky - Yes, the KB addresses the intercom feature “as is”, but Brock is referring to functionality that doesn’t exist. Specifically, the ability to intercom a user WITHOUT having to dial their extension number. Rather, a soft key that directly intercoms a user, and connect via speakerphone and doesn’t require the caller to enter the extension number. (We don’t want to have to memorize extension numbers , and would prefer not to keep a printout of the extension directory near physical phones)

    Hi Becky, thank you. I am referring to one button intercom from the employees on my presences screen. Currently ringcentral requires to type an extension to use intercom. https://support.ringcentral.com/article/4617.html
