Configuring Dial-By-Name Directory Extensions at the Site Level

Currently, you can only configure certain Dial-By Name Directory settings under the Main Site General Settings.

It would be helpful to be able to have a separate Dial-By-Name Directory setting menu for each site. For example, currently, you can only choose to search by First Name or Last Name at a company-wide level. We would like to be able to change each of these settings to fit our sites' needs (one site might want to search by first name, one by last name).

I found out last week that this is NOW an option - I have no idea when it was added. But we have implemented it at our company and it works great. As an admin, if you go to phone system, then select auto receptionist; then select "dial by name directory" Once hear just scroll to the bottom to "Users included in search" - I selected "Users in the same site as the IVR menu" - and now each of our business units with an IVR - with a menu option for a dial by name directory have confirmed that it works. I did not change anything else on this page - I even questioned it because there are some things pre selected like - "Directory Key" and "search criteria" and - for the directory key it is different per business unit so my RC technical person just said leave it as is. I have searched through all of the MVP updates this year and last and never once did I see any enhancements to "Dial by name directory" until I was told about it last week.
