yes, make it work just like Apple Reminder's app
If we had this option as an "Alert" when the task is due, it would allow us to use RC as our task source. Without this feature, using tasks in RC is nearly pointless because it causes me to have to micro manage a task I assign a user to make sure it is completed.
In Glip, we were able to see all tasks in a line item formation and could choose whether we wanted to see current tasks, completed tasks or all tasks. The new RC does not seem to have that capability and we can only see one task at a time and there is no way to change that setting or see all the tasks at a glance. It's time consuming to have to scroll through to get to the ONE you're looking for and not to mention that we can't get desktop notifications anymore.
Mark, I meant more details from the RC side. We'll update this idea when we have further details for you.
Hi Becky, I am not sure what more details RC needs? Its just a matter of putting the feature back that RC removed.
I agree with Mark. RC is not the same and doesn't work as well as Glip did with the notifications and display of tasks.

The Dashboard needs to be put back, which would dispay Current/Overdue tasks , Calendar events etc, just like Glip did so awesomely well. It would be interesting to know what motivated RC to remove it?
a Task manager that does not have any function to remind about upcoming or overdue tasks is completely non-productive, the irony being a Task manager is supposed to help productivity.
