Poly VVX Phone Message Light should turn on with Co-Recipients
With the new Co-Recipients feature for voicemails, especially for Message-Only Extensions, it would be beneficial for RingCentral to be able to turn on the Messages Light on the Poly VVX phones. This would provide a visual indicator that a message is waiting for staff that are not using any apps.
We are seeing this indeed light up - the problem is that if someone goes into the app and Deletes the voicemail before doing 'Mark as Read' - the light on the VVX NEVER GOES AWAY until reboot.
We had to totally disable the voicemail functionality on multiple VVX phones because people couldn't get rid of the constant blinking light and they had no idea when they had a voicemail.
