It would greatly benefit standard users in way that it would let them know that they don't have to update their address every time they have to login

Given that this is a desktop application, feature allowing the users to disable the notification would be nice. Especially for those who use multiple workstations and log in to the app each day.

This shouldn't be an 'idea', this should be there from day one. This popup appears every time you start the app and is putting me off the idea of moving to RC as this will cause end user annoyance.
