When an org depends on Glip conversations to handle all sorts of matters throughout the day, it's easy to loose a thread in the current schema.
Add support for threaded conversations, please. This will be understandably difficult given the variety of platforms you're supporting. I'm not sure what it will even look like. Perhaps you could simply have two places in each conversation to write: replying to a prior comment or starting a new comment. Whenever someone replies to an older comment, that whole thread becomes the latest message, maybe simply appearing as two comments, first and last, connected by ellipses. Click on this and you actually open a sub-version of the current room. So if you started in the "Marketing" room and click on the sub-thread, you enter a new room called "Marketing - Don Knotts 3/4/18 3:34" unless Don renames his thread.
Good luck with this one and its design. Really hopeful you'll do something for threaded conversation support in 2018.

It’s frustrating that I can quote to reply to a message, but can’t quote/reply to a Post created via the API
I know this is now "planned." Any updates on when this will be worked on? Lack of threads makes it impossible to have multiple conversations going at once.
I just start using RingCentral and RingCentral missing this feature is really annoying as it makes the message unusable as soon as the number of replies increased or the number of topics opened increased in the Discussions. or Teams. It simply does not scale without this feature.
When do you plan to support this? As right now, I would recommend to my administration to look for a new tool.
New user ,
Was hoping to have conversation threads implemented . Like in SLACK..
Very easy to get lost in all the conversation posts.
Any timeframe on when this might be added?
Any update on this? Still eagerly anticipating...
Do you have a tentative date for delivering this feature?
Excited to see that this is "planned". Hopefully soon - it will make this service SO much more useful.
Maybe the way Slack implemented thread message can be a reference.
If this is not implemented before RC Classic is retired in May, it will break our organization's ability to use RC team messaging, and I suspect that is true for others that have requested this feature. Classic isn't perfect but the ability to have threaded conversations based on tasks is better than the new app, and if we lose that we'll have to find a new group messaging solution stat.
Nice
