Daily, weekly and monthly logs of all SMS sent by agents and who they are sent to is required for proper auditing and in order to avoid unwanted activities. Would like to print out SMS text messages. It would be nice to have a way to access the text message exchange of agents for auditing purposes.

We are now able to run a SMS report in RC to see who is using the feature. Under report SMS log is added.
We have this need for FOIA / Right-to-Know requests. Until RingCentral can deliver this function, we've had to disable all texting/collaboration functionality, which is a huge loss for our users.
When signing up for Ring Central and migrating over 20 numbers and users into this system, I was promised that this feature WAS available. It appears we've been given a bait-n-switch, very bad form. This is a business critical feature and it appears to have been requested for more than a few years now. Why is it not implemented yet?
Need to have an administrative log of text messages received and sent by agents.
I would like to be able to see who (people and call queues) is using SMS with volume and costs. Total volume and cost for outbound and inbound. Alerting beyond when the prepurchased volume is exceeded would be helpful to make sure I don't get a scary high invoice when it's too late to react. Perhaps set dollar thresholds to alert on when exceded. At this point, I need simple usage reporting. That may identify the need for setting limits on users or phone numbers to control excessive usage. Knowing who my big consumers are at least lets me know who to talk to.
Up to this point, I have had no visibility into our use and don't know what questions to ask about that use. So it's hard to state exactly what I need for reporting. The log is OK for troubleshooting, but nothing more than that.
Overages so far: Last month = $200, this month = $1200
Currently I can only download 5500 records at a time from the SMS Log, which is less than a day's use. So I cannot even reconcile if my bill is correct let alone gain any insight into how my users are using SMS.
We NEED some way to review usage! With all the power and capabilities of RingCentral Analytics, it's pretty sad that I can't analyze any details related to SMS. :o(
Yes! We need this. Not sure how it's not already included in the phone report for number of outbound and inbound calls made. Please add this feature ASAP. This would be a great tool to see my teams follow up process. And a more detailed report of what texts were sent so I can make sure they are professional going out.

please add this feature ASAP with the new increment in prices you must be able to offer the option of having full reports on who sent and sms and to whom.
This would be a great feature to have, especially with the new standards! Please roll this out ASAP. Thanks!
Because of new SMS standards they're going to start billing after you send so many messages. So it would be nice to see monthly usage to know if we need to budget for addental cost or not.
Just figure this one out already and roll it out.
This feature needs to be added asap. With between 100 - 250 texts sent on a daily basis a record of these texts and who they're being sent by and to who is essential.
Can't believe this doesn't exist, sms messages are inaccessible to administrators unless you access the sender or recipient account. We've got logs for calls and faxes, audit log for changes, but nothing for sms and nothing being worked on???
Currently, we use ringclone to audit the content of SMS messages.
This is a vital need for proper record keeping. MUST add.
This would have just saved my company a lot of money with a fraudulant unemployment claim and law suit. We have 2 employees that created a scheme and we know there is evidence in the text messages between them.

Given so many regulatory demands on various industries, it surprises me that there is no export feature for SMS messages given RingCentral's broad clientele base.
Need to keep certain texts as i receive 50 texts a day and i need to keep my bosses texts
