User Settings: Disable call waiting while on a call.

Use a "Currently on another Call" greeting message while on another call or have the capability to disable Call waiting. An options that say, while i'm on another call us this greeting, or while i'm on a call go straight to voicemail.

    Come on RingCentral. How can the default position be that when I am already on a call the phone rings again when another comes through with no way to divert it direct to my voicemail?
    For the last 30 years every business phone system I have used is able to do this.
    Aren't systems such as RC supposed to be the latest technology?

    When something does eventually happen around this issue, the phone system also needs to recognise when a queue member is offline, as currently calls are going to offline team members before ringing out.
    This situation is made worse by the Rotating option, as the system will then always ring the offline members before it gets to any of the online members, leading to long wait times.
    How is this still not resolved after being reported in July 2020!

    This is ridiculous. We are a new customer, and as someone already stated, this is a core feature of other systems (including the one we just replaced). No one knows to ask this question before signing a contract because it's just common sense.

    Call waiting causing issues, when your on a call it will interrupt the other call, it does the same thing when your in a meeting, set-up per user to select if they want call waiting on or off.

    Would it also be possible to have a busy / engaged tone rather than go to voicemail ?

    Clearly Ring Central is not listening to our needs. This post is from 2017 and still nothing. When I'm on a call and another call comes in, my current call volume goes very low and the ringing over powers the conversation. At the very least it should be the other way around. Quiet ring in the background and no adjustment in volume on my current call. This is horrible and needs to be addressed.

    Is there any update on this? What is the status, surely not still New? This is a core feature of virtaully every other phone system available, and loads of people have voted for it - why are we having to wait so long for an update?

    The beeping for call waiting is so incredibly loud it can be hard to hear the conversation with a client. It is distracting and unnecessary. My company would appreciate the option to either opt out of the alert or lower the volume.

    Following up! How do I configure RC Office to automatically enable DND & direct calls to voicemail whenever I'm on a RC Video meeting or on another phone call? Do I need to manually change to DND at the start of a meeting or phone call? It's disruptive to users, especially for those hosting/chairing a video call.

    If the feature doesn't already exist, can someone give a status update on this Idea Request?

    Note: this feature shouldn't be limited to queue members. It would be helpful for non-queue members too.

    Please give users the ability to determine how they are notified when another call is coming in. This should also include if someone's in a meeting, video call or regular phone call.
    Specifically in our situation, user is logged in with RC "modern" app. and on a video call. Someone else calls them on their RC #
    Instead of an audible noise we would like just the screen pop that there is an incoming call, giving the user the choice.
