Desktop app: transfer voicemails from one extension to another

We would love it if there was a way to transfer voicemails from one extension to another. Can the engineers work on implementing this?

Just became a RC MVP client on 7/13/2022. As a new customer we definitely thought RC desktop app would have this feature.

This is a very important feature for our team with the shared general phone lines and changing voicemails between teams!

The only way to "transfer" a voicemail is by forwarding as an email which does not make sense from a collaboration perspective. If you are in the phone system, why switch to a different platform (e.g. email)?

I'm surprised the ability to transfer voicemails between extensions isn't built into RingCentral functionality. A true transfer does not seem to be available via any method (listening to a message from a deskphone, the web, the RingCentral App, or RingCentral Phone). Please add this capability.

Would love to see this feature in the RC app. We work in the RC app day to day and having to go to the web portal to transfer a voicemail sucks.

This is a highly desired feature we would like to see built into the RC app.

I found one way to do it from https://service.ringcentral.com/application/overview then click on the three dots next to the voicemail.

Is there a way to transfer a single voicemail from the app?

    Do you mean in bulk?

When you have listened to the voicemail message you can press 5 to forward it to another extension.

It would be very useful to have a softkey to transfer calls directly to voicemail without the need to have to dial * codes.

It would be great to be able to forward voicemails in your mailbox to another company extension or even via email. Traditionally, this is a feature in PBX systems and even other corporate VoIP systems. And works well and very useful.

This would be useful if an employee likes to keep messages in their mailboxes and need to transfer it to another extension. We get alot of email and these seem to disappear within the inbox when transferred that way.

Currently, when a transferred voicemail is received in the RC app it displays the number of the extension that performed the transfer, rather than the name/number of the caller that left the original voicemail.
