   Customers see meaningfully lower CPU and memory usage in video meetings on the RingCentral desktop app (using new desktop meetings experience), which replaced the Legacy meetings

   Additionally, for customers on older computers, we’ll be introducing a performance optimization mode in July 2026 to help provide a smoother experience. More details will follow soon.

   This would be a great feature for us, it would allow us to identify local issues with voice calls. We get a lot of reports of poor voice quality, analytics show the call is good, and we are sure this is mostly down to the user using webcam or built in laptop microphones, whereas they should be using the headset mic.
