   Anyone presenting — not just the host — can include system audio so participants hear shared video and audio clearly. This is supported when presenting from the desktop app on both Windows and macOS, with macOS support our most recent addition. See Sharing your screen with audio.

   I'm unsure why this feature was removed, but multiple users of mine are complaining that the people they have meetings with can no longer hear audio through the desktop app. While the work-around is to use the web browser app, it doesn't make sense to push a unified app and then remove not just this feature, but multiple features.
