  3. We make video calls to patients/customers using the UC App, the employee making the video call has their name shown on screen, for security staff don't want this to be displayed. The current workaround is to change the staff name within the admin centre, but this impacts live views, analytic reports, etc. Can the account setup have another field for 'display name', which can be either set to 'use account name', or custom, where we can anonymise the staff member details.

    The "All-new RingCentral Video Meetings" feature is currently in beta and can only be enabled or disabled on a per-user basis.

    Requested Enhancement:

    Provide administrators with the ability to enable or disable the "All-new RingCentral Video Meetings" feature at the account level, allowing the setting to be applied to all users simultaneously.

  6. The customer has requested the ability to restrict video calling at the extension level. Specifically, if any extension user needs to initiate a video call, they should first require permission or approval from an administrator before being allowed to proceed.

    The customer reported that third-party participants who join their personal video meetings via shared links are being redirected to the RingCentral video meeting with the AI sales page after exiting the session.

    The customer would like to inquire whether it is possible to customize this behavior, specifically to redirect participants to their own business website instead of the default RingCentral page.

  8. Would like to have a workaround about ATT domain due to them removing the capability for email to text or text to email - https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1061254/

    I need RingCentral to do like a direct SMS to ATT for SMS Notification instead of email to text or text to email since it's not available to ATT anymore.

    Ability to send sms notification to only TN number, instead of entering the email to text format

The customer is requesting a feature enhancement to the RingCentral application that enables the outbound call and call recording compliance script to be persistently displayed across all screens within the application. The customer requires this message to remain continuously visible to all users throughout their use of the platform, not limited to call initiation or active call states, in order to support internal compliance, regulatory requirements, and employee awareness.     Currently, when using a personal meeting link or personal meeting ID, participants who have previously joined a meeting can rejoin automatically without being admitted, even if the host has locked the meeting.

    We would like to request a feature enhancement that ensures all participants—regardless of prior attendance—are required to be admitted by the host when rejoining a meeting using the same personal meeting link or ID.

  18. I do a lot of telemedicine video visits, and I have noticed that too many of my patients struggle with getting their audio set up and/or allowing the video to run. As a result, when I allow them to join the meeting, we often spend (waste) 5 minutes for technical reasons and this reduces the time for the actual appointment conversation. It would be nice if they can allow their camera and audio before they join and those settings stay set so they do not have to fumble with them again after they join.

  19. Currently, direct access to other users’ video meeting recordings is not available under standard permissions.

    There are use cases where authorized access to these recordings is necessary. It would be helpful to have an option for admins (or designated roles) to view or manage recordings across users.

    Suggested Solution:

    Add admin-level permissions to access user recordings
    Allow role-based access control for recordings
    Provide a centralized recording management feature

    This would improve flexibility and support important internal workflows while maintaining proper access control.

  20. Using CTRL/SHIFT/ALT keys results in temporarily loss of remote control of shared screen in RC meeting. Cannot use CTRL or SHIFT keys in RDP sessions on customer screen being shared and remote controlled in RC meeting. The orange remote control banner at the top of the RC meeting switches to "Wait to control [name's] screen" when one of those keys is hit, and then one second later remote control starts working again automatically.
