Less devices to maintain, cuts clutter. We keep the ATA or multiport device in our MDF or IDF on UPS power and then cross connect the dial tone out on inside plant cable into the building. A multi port 2,4,8 option would be great. Less devices to maintain, cuts clutter. We keep the ATA or multiport device in our MDF or IDF on UPS power and then cross connect the dial tone out on inside plant cable into the building.
