    This feature is absolutely critical for businesses using RingCentral as a primary communication platform.

    Companies rely on SMS conversations for operational history, compliance, dispute resolution, customer support, and internal documentation. The inability to export, back up, or migrate text messages creates major business continuity and legal risks.

    In addition to bulk SMS export/download functionality, there should also be a full import capability when migrating between RingCentral accounts or tenants, including SMS history, call logs, contacts, and conversations. Businesses should not lose years of communication history during account migrations or organizational changes.

    Many providers already offer export/import and archival options, and this has become a standard business requirement rather than a “nice to have.”

    Please prioritize this feature. For many organizations, this is a deciding factor when choosing whether to stay with a platform long term.
