Breakout Rooms : Broadcast Video, Audio, and Chat Messages
PROBLEM:It is hard to coordinate activities between Breakout Rooms: Often times when you are doing a large event, like a workshop or conference or team event, you need to break out into separate teams for activities, but breakout rooms can be disconnected from one another which makes coordination between breakout rooms difficult. At certain times after breakout sessions, attendees need also to return to the Main Room, and this can be like herding cats. It can be challenging to coordinate and communicate with the separate Breakout teams when its time to return to the main Presentation Room, or provide instructions on what they are supposed to be doing in their Breakout Sessions.Overlapping audio can make it hard to chat / collaborate in breakout rooms, if you members of breakout rooms all need to collectively watch the same video with instructions at the same time: Often times, people in breakout rooms will want to have open audio channels to be able to chat and discuss within breakout teams, and in cases where there is an external presentation they are watching like a video channel playing instructions, this creates audio issues for attendees since the audio playback may be captured on each attendee's microphones separately and overlapping, making it impossible to hear anything.SOLUTION:Enable a Meeting Presenter / Moderator to "Broadcast" to All Connected Breakout Rooms (and the Main Room) in a Meeting. This is ONE WAY broadcasts, similar to an intercom, that can be heard by all breakout rooms. Ideally these broadcasts could include Video, Audio, Screenshare, and Text Messages.Broadcasted Audio should be heard as a single channel on each user's speakers and not picked up by the microphones to avoid any jumbled and overlapping sound. The Presenter / Moderator could use the Broadcast Video / Audio / Chat Messages to tell users when to return to the Main Room, or provide instructions to people in the breakout rooms, etc.
