One of the unnaturally things about video conferencing is that every is looking away, to some extent. Unless they are trained TV personalities :-)For the speaker there is no sense of eye contact and, since the order that people appear in the gallery varies, people are looking in different directions, which is also strange.I suggest adding a feature to the gallery view to reserve the top, center position for the current speaker.This way, other participants can approximate eye contact while looking at the speaker, and have all the participants in view. I simulated this recently while using multiple screens by making the speaker's window small and placing it just under my camera.
