Sync RingCentral Desktop Application With RingCX
RingCentral should implement a call status synchronization between the RingCentral Desktop application and RINGCX. When you are on a call using your RingCentral desktop application, this status should be reflected in real time to RINGCX preventing the RingCX app from present you an additional incoming call.
Key Points:
1. Real Time Status Updates: Both RingCentral Desktop and RingCX should be able to communicate real time call statuses to each other. When you answer or make a call on one platform, the other should recognized that you're on an active call.Presence Integration: Leverage the user presence feature to reflect an…

Preserve Agents’ extension as Caller ID for Internal Calls
When agents make internal calls on the SPOG, their caller ID shows the RingCX caller ID Setup. It would be helpful if the system preserved the agent’s actual Extension as caller ID so colleagues can easily recognize who is calling.

Need an enhancement to our call‑handling interface that adds a real‑time hold‑duration timer for agents.
We need an enhancement to our call‑handling interface that adds a real‑time hold‑duration timer for agents. Currently, agents can see the total call time but cannot see how long a caller has been on hold, leading to compliance gaps, inconsistent customer experience, and unintentionally long hold times. I would like to request A secondary timer that: Displays real‑time hold duration (HH:MM:SS) Resets each time hold is removed Remains visible at all times If possible, and alerts agent when hold exceeds a set threshold

RingCX -- Integration with MVP / RingEX Improvements (Single Pane of Glass)
This initiative is being worked on and is called Single Pane of Glass
The biggest point of need is they need to operate under the same pane of glass. Either the RingEx client or in a web browser. You should not have to open two separate windows to handle RingCX and MVP conversations, calls, etc.
The status between MVP and RingCX needs to sync. If you are on a call on either side, the other side needs to know about this. If you set yourself away or DnD, likewise.
You cannot see MVP queues in the Corporate Directory when transferring…

Complete Call Handling Through Physical RC Phone
Here at the City of Bend, some Contact Center team members use their Desk Phones to handle calls, transfers, putting on hold, etc. On RCX, you can "Login with RC Phone" option Logging into RCX, but the receptionists must handle the call through the HTML RCX Interface. We assumed this would allow receptionists to completely handle calls through the physical RC Phone, however, we are being told this does not work at this time. We would like to handle the entire call control from the physical desk phone.

RingCentral desktop client vs web client off-hook calls
Add the "Allow Off-Hook Calls" and "permanent connection" functionality from the RingCX web client to the desktop client. This feature currently allows calls to be routed to an agent even when they are in an "Away" status.
The customer identified that this behavior difference between the two clients caused a support issue. Implementing this feature in the desktop client would provide a consistent user experience and prevent similar issues in the future.

Display User Extension Number When Transferring From RingCX To RingEX
Ability to display user extension number of the transferring agent when a call is being transferred from RingCX to RingEX users.
Whenever an agent from RingCX transfers a call to a RingEX agent, the RingEX user would like to see who internally from RingCX agents are calling them helping them easily identify who from the RingCX agent are calling them.

Make voice transcripts visible to agents in RingCX
RingCX generates transcripts to create Summaries on voice calls, but it's not visible to Agents. It should be available in real-time during the call and accessible after the call along with the Summaries. Both should be able to be memorialized in a connected CRM along with other metadata and call recording link.
Our main competitors have that feature Zoom & Dialpad) and it's a common request from customers.

Automatic hold for warm transfers using integrated phone
Many customers would like to have a warm transferred call automatically put the far end on hold. This functionality is available within agent scripting. However, some customers use the RingEX extension integration which would require the agent scripting to use webservices. This change would give customers the ability to choose how they would like to handle warm transfers on a queue/campaign level and would alleviate the lift required to mimic this functionality.
