Social Media Comment Threads - Lock Ability
The problem:
- We manage hundreds of social media channels.
- When we run competitions, posts often get thousands of comments.
- Most comments don’t need a reply — but sometimes a customer service–related question appears in the middle of the thread.
- If we completely ignore a comment thread, we could miss those occasional important queries.
The feature request:
Allow us to “lock” a thread when we don’t need to respond further, so that if a new comment is added later, it appears as a new, separate thread — making it easier to spot and respond to.
Why it matters:
Without this, we…

Ability to limit SMS channel selection when creating an outbound SMS message
When an agent generates a manual outbound SMS message, you have to select the channel to send the message from. The issue is that it shows every channel in the system, not just the channels/queues that agent is assigned to.
In our use case, agents have their own SMS queue but without the ability to restrict this, an agent can send an outbound SMS from any other agents queue or channel.
It would be ideal if there was a way to set a 'default' outbound channel instead of having to have the agent select a channel.

Last Called Agent (LCA) Functionality Required for Engage Messaging and Email Channel Types
We require the same “Last Called Agent” (LCA) capability for Engage Messaging and Email channels within Digital Queues as currently exists for Voice Queues. This will significantly improve customer experience by providing more efficient and personalised resolution to issues.
By reducing the need for clients to repeat information and details from previous interactions, this feature would potentially lower interaction durations. Furthermore, this capability is also essential in scenarios where agents receive commissions for successful sales, ensuring clients are routed back to the initial agent who provided consulting prior to the purchase of services or goods.

All Messages Conversation Search Enhancement
There should be a way the system understands the different ways a TN can be displayed/formatted and searched, but at present, it seems it needs to be exactly the same as the interaction shows in the history.
Please see the screenshots.
If a number is formatted in 3 different ways as it's used in RCX:
(734) 279-2221
17342792221
734-279-2221When you search by these formats, you only get see the exact format the text is searched as, instead of all instances in which the number can be formatted as. This causes an issue as you search for a customer's info and/or…

When logging out of RCX or refreshing: digital tasks are immediately sent back to the queue.
When logging out of RCX or refreshing: mails in task mode assigned to an agent move to the Inbox instead of being kept on the task mode. the idea is to "keep" digital tasks assigned for a certain time with the same agent even if he refreshes the browser or disconnect from RingCX.

Easier Contact Centre Management Solution
Adding thread ID into reports within analytics, particularly the "Interactions details report" or alternatively, a way to search for UII conversations within the agent/supervisor interface. This way, supervisors/managers can look further into where conversations have been rejected/acceptance timed out and manage the call centre more efficiently providing additional feedback to their agents.

RingCX digital report showing which page the customer initiated the digital chat from
Currently, when a customer initiates a digital chat from a website, there is no straightforward way within RingCX Digital analytics to identify the specific webpage URL they were on.
The use case has been generated by a customer that has circa 2-million digital interactions a month spread across multiple websites and multiple pages.
This lack of data creates a blind spot and the account cannot correlate chat volume with specific website and web pages. This hinders their ability to optimize their website, measure marketing campaign effectiveness, provide the most efficient customer support and more importantly they cannot provide reports to…

Ability to reduce the auto-lock of conversations that have had no response from 4 days to required number.
Ability to reduce the auto-lock of conversations that have had no response from 4 days to required number.
Allowing conversations to stay open for 4 days does not work for businesses that use automation to resolve customer issues if the customer does not go to the end of the flow and leaves the conversation to later come back and restart. E.g. a customer contacts today regarding delivery and is advised that they need to allow 2 working days using AI. Customer comes back in 2 working days to query a missing item/damaged item and is greeted with the same conversation,…

Ability to delete multiple messages in digital queues
There should be an ability to filter and delete in mass specific messages in queues.
Right now, when a queue is hit with spam, one has to select each message one by one and either ignore or recategorize them.

RingCX Outbound SMS -- Cannot see messages until they are replied to
When sending an outbound SMS via RingCX, there is no record the message was sent, history, conversion, etc. until the other party replies. This makes it very hard to keep track of who you have messaged.

Engage Digital - Create WFM IEX feed to take into account time spent working in ED
We utilize the NICE inContact WFM IEX tool and during setup we were told it would be able to integrate with Engage Digital to take into account work done in that tool as well as within the Contact Center for forecasting\staffing, however to date that is not something that has been configurable. We would like to see a specific data export that could be automated from ED into IEX in a format IEX can utilize to account for time spent by our agents working in Engage Digital to fully take advantage of using both products.

Engage Digital - Internal Draft Save Feature
Currently there is no way to save an ongoing draft of an email within Engage Digital and load it back up later, instead it seems a work in progress email is cached locally. Our agents are having to save drafts in a word doc or notepad file and then come back and copy and paste it into the tool when ready to answer an email. They have requested some way of saving and managing in-progress replies in a cleaner manner within the Engage Digital tool.

Add Setting to the "End Message" Queue Event to Send Email Notification
Add a setting to the "End Message" queue event in Digital that will send an email. This would be helpful for management in the case of a Digital contact not being answered and the time expiring, specifically for customers that only have one Digital queue.

Bring Back Ability to Enter Special Characters in From Field of Email Templates
After moving from the https://portal.virtualacd.biz/legacyagent/#/login URL to the new https://engage.ringcentral.com URL, our agents can no longer send email templates that have special characters in the from field (the send email button is grayed out until the special characters are removed). This was a useful feature because it allowed us to give email addresses labels, which has been requested from clients in the past when sending out emails for outbound campaigns. Here's the formatting we want to be able to use on the new platform: 'Email Label'exampleemailaddress@exampledomain.com. This way, when the customer receives the email, they will see a…

Add presence status sync / data driven routing to Salesforce connector
A few suggested changes with respect to this connector:
1. Manage ambassador presence in the Salesforce omnichannel console for channels managed by RingCentral (presence status sync)
2. Use Salesforce to define omnichannel routing strategies (data driven routing)
3. Consistent management of the response base across channels (Use SFDC reply assistant)4 votes
