We want this feature on our RingCentral system as well. It is very frustrating for us to have the ability to designate only one user to have access to the text message function when our client prefers to communicate with our firm via text. It is also very cumbersome for the designated user to monitor the text messages while balancing other responsibilities.
It is a little concerning for me as a user that this function has not yet been developed after 3 years of various users asking. I hope this feature gets added soon.
