  2. when I go to compose a new text on the desktop app or on the mobile version- it automatically checks the box for "add an opt out message" we want it to be unchecked as the automatic setting or default

    we don't send marketing or mass text messages so we don't want it to look like it's coming from a computer or like it was automated when it is not.

  3. Our organization actively uses the Business SMS Booster feature, and it works well within the RingCentral Desktop App, where the Shared SMS Inbox is fully accessible.
    However, the Shared SMS tab does not work with MMS in the future as we completely launch the Business SMS Booster (Shared SMS Inbox).

  4. Please add an option to disable the automatic "Resolved" tagging for SMS shared inboxes. Additionally, ensure that the conversation history is not removed from the message thread once a message is marked or handled. Users should be able to maintain a continuous view of the message history without it disappearing.

  7. We’ve identified that MMS is currently not working for the Shared Inbox under the RingEX Customer Engagement Bundle plan. Enabling this feature as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated, as it is important for ongoing operations.

  9. Hi Team,

    We appreciate the recent updates to the BeeTexting interface. To further improve the user experience, we would like to propose an option for a Split-Screen View, similar to a standard email inbox (like Outlook or Gmail).

    Currently, users have to click back and forth between the message list and individual threads, which feels fragmented. A split-screen layout would allow the left side to display the full list of messages while the right side shows the specific conversation or "particular message" selected.

  10. Currently, in the RingCentral Desktop App (Shared/Text tab), the "Paperclip/Attachment" icon is visible when first viewing a thread. However, after the first response is sent or the conversation is assigned to a user, the attachment icon immediately disappears.

    Ensure the "Attachment/Paperclip" icon remains persistent and functional throughout the entire lifecycle of a Shared SMS conversation, regardless of assignment status or reply count.

  17. Customers are requesting a speech-to-text (voice dictation) feature in the SMS interface. Before sending an SMS, users should be able to click on a microphone icon, speak their message, and have the system automatically convert the speech into editable text. Users can then review and edit the text before sending.

  18. As a Shared Inbox user (especially one who can assign conversations), I need to see all active conversations by default, and then optionally filter down.

    Current behavior: by default, the inbox excludes conversations assigned to other users.

    Required behavior: default view should be ALL conversations when “ALL” is selected.

    Workaround issue: turning the filter off does not persist between app relaunches, which creates a risk that messages will be missed.

  19. Currently, company main numbers and numbers associated with site extensions, user extensions, and message-only extensions cannot be used with the shared inbox. We are requesting that this capability be enabled so that these numbers can utilize the shared inbox functionality.

  20. It would be helpful if we can use the main number to receive and respond to SMS on our call queue. Since we have 4 users setup currently to receive these kind of SMS.
