Currently, per TCR (The Campaign Registry) and U.S. carrier compliance requirements, short code messages are only deliverable to handset mobile subscribers. As a result, RingCentral numbers are unable to receive these messages, and the behavior is working as designed.Problem Statement:

Remove Automatic check on "Add opt-out message" when sending SMS
When any of our users send a new sms message, the "Add opt-out message" is by default checked. We want that to be unchecked automatically.

Improve SMS Shared Inbox Visibility Across Assigned Users
Request to enhance the SMS Shared Inbox feature to allow all assigned users to view full SMS conversation history, including messages sent and received by other team members within the same shared inbox.
Currently, users (e.g., Ext. 101 and Ext. 102) can only see their own sent messages and not the responses or messages sent by other assigned users, resulting in fragmented and one-sided conversation views.
This improvement would help prevent duplicate responses, improve team coordination, and provide a complete conversation history for all users assigned to the shared inbox.

disable the SMS opt out box
when I go to compose a new text on the desktop app or on the mobile version- it automatically checks the box for "add an opt out message" we want it to be unchecked as the automatic setting or default
we don't send marketing or mass text messages so we don't want it to look like it's coming from a computer or like it was automated when it is not.

Disable Automatic Resolved Tagging & Retain Message History
Please add an option to disable the automatic "Resolved" tagging for SMS shared inboxes. Additionally, ensure that the conversation history is not removed from the message thread once a message is marked or handled. Users should be able to maintain a continuous view of the message history without it disappearing.

Persistent MMS (Attachment) Capability in Shared SMS Inbox
Currently, in the RingCentral Desktop App (Shared/Text tab), the "Paperclip/Attachment" icon is visible when first viewing a thread. However, after the first response is sent or the conversation is assigned to a user, the attachment icon immediately disappears.
Ensure the "Attachment/Paperclip" icon remains persistent and functional throughout the entire lifecycle of a Shared SMS conversation, regardless of assignment status or reply count.

Beetexting Improvement
Hi Team,
We appreciate the recent updates to the BeeTexting interface. To further improve the user experience, we would like to propose an option for a Split-Screen View, similar to a standard email inbox (like Outlook or Gmail).
Currently, users have to click back and forth between the message list and individual threads, which feels fragmented. A split-screen layout would allow the left side to display the full list of messages while the right side shows the specific conversation or "particular message" selected.

SMS Shared inbox: Resolve feature
The Resolve feature is helpful, but it should not permanently close the SMS conversation. It would be better to allow the thread to reopen automatically if the client or a team member replies, rather than archiving it completely.

Sync "Read" Status Across Extensions After Reply in Shared Inbox for Beetexting.
The Customer wants a message to be automatically marked as Read for all users/extensions once another team member has opened and replied to it, so that we can avoid duplicate efforts and maintain a clean inbox.
Currently, in the Beetexting shared SMS inbox, when one user reads and replies to an incoming message, the message remains marked as "Unread" on other users' extensions. This creates confusion, as team members cannot easily tell which inquiries have already been addressed without manually clicking into each conversation.
