Coming later in 2023, users will be able to select their outbound number in the separate messaging window (not just in settings). This only addresses outbound caller ID. Update March 2024: This feature has been delayed. Current estimated timeline is Q4 2024.

This is an important feature for us. Prior to porting our number to Ringcentral our last provider allowed us to choose which phone number we texted from, either our own or the company main line. We can call from the main line on RC but cannot text/receive texts. Rather, they are now going to a single inbox and we are forced to address them via email. Beetexting appears cost prohibitive for a basic feature.
