This definitely is a big issue with our users in CX. There was a period where some users could use desk phone pairing in CX and others could not - this lead to a lot of confusion as some needed to use work arounds. Different people had to be trained to do different things based on what features they had access to when they should have all been on the same feature update in the first place.
We spent a lot of time troubleshooting various things, reached out to support and they solved this issue by pushing the feature update to all CX users. If we had control over these updates, it would save us and support a lot of time.
