As a Chief Customer Success Officer managing all B2B client accounts and interactions, I rely on group texts to coordinate with multiple contacts at each client site for fast, efficient multi-team visibility and feedback. Whatsapp has more capabilities than RingCentral current texting including Sharing A Named Text Group across users as well as add/remove Text group members without restarting chat and losing history.
Right now every group thread just shows a list of phone numbers or first names, so I have no way to quickly identify which client/account a conversation belongs to when I have many active threads open. Being able to name group texts (e.g., "Smile Fusion – Dr. Patel's Office") would save significant time navigating conversations and reduce the risk of sending a message to the wrong group. Please prioritize this — it's clearly been requested by many users across different industries for years.
