    We always chat with collegues from different time zones and raising questions like:
    - "Is it comfortable for you to have a meeting at 7:00PM EST/08:00AM GMT-6/15:00 (your city/country/etc)"

    I would like to have a button in the message window (right to the text format/file attache/emojis/gif/audio-video message).
    On click:
    - Open a window to type or select date-time from timepicker
    - Click "OK"
    - Add something like: {datetime:2025-05-02T12:30:13UTC} in the message
    - Show it for all users in theris timezone

    I see message:
    - "Would you like to meet at 05 May 19:00 EST?" (my timezone)
    Person sees:

  2. Verizon Wireless SMS text notification XXXXXXXXXX@vtext.com

    Need to allow Verizon Wireless SMS text notifications from Ring Central admin portal. Any singular users and user groups. All other wireless carriers allow this now, and it currently works. Verizon is not currently working and we need this fixed ASAP.

  3. Sending audio and video recordings using messages in the RingCentral app

    Add this feature for SMS / TXT to non-internal messenger users in our group. I have a lot of external customers I've added as contacts to my RC contact directory that I'd like to do direct video SMS to vs. taking a video and attaching to the SMS text message.

  4. Add Read/Sent Feature for Messaging

    Is it possible to give us a feature wherein we can see the status of messages we sent. whether it is delivered or seen and who sees it when sent to group chatroom? we are using the messages tool to communicate internally to organization members and it is necessary for us to know if the notifications are read or not.

    Although certain messages can be pinned which is useful, it would be more helpful to be able to search by words or numbers throughout the entire conversation history with a person or team messaging group.

    My idea is pretty straight forward. Us, as administrators of an organization on RingCentral should have access to manage Private / Public teams. As an administrator we should have access to everything within our RingCentral 'server / team' as we need to monitor our employees.   10. Add a way to personalize notification sounds for mentions in chats/messages

    I see there's a way to add your own ringtones for phone calls. I was wondering if there's a way to do the same for messages or mentions in messages? I'm being a total millennial and would love to add the AIM messages for nostalgia purposes.

    We have observed that our users are experiencing a significant gap in their message history within the RingCentral app, specifically from July 2021 through April of this year. We would like to inquire about the process for restoring these missing messages for our users.

  13. Open Mic feature that allows Voice Chat option with Coworkers via Realtime/live Audio.

    this would allow Multiuser chatting; a Voice chat option that can be turned on or off for the chat room so I don't have to type out short questions, and we can vent to coworkers via audio

  14. Text with Gif Messages

    When clicking on a GIF it automatically sends. It would be nice if it was added to the text field so we can add a message to accompany the GIF. In our office, we like to do birthday shout-outs and currently, we have to send two separate messages, one with the gif and the second with the shout-out. It would be nice if it could be one message together.

  17. Pin Team/Group Chat

    I have hundreds of team/group chats, and every day, many of them will have new messages. even though we have UnRead filter for chats, when I read the message and navigate to another chat, the previous one will be gone. It is not easy for me to navigate around those chats I'm focusing on.

    So my idea is, can we provide a Pin feature to the chats as well? So even if I filter only to show UnRead message chats, I can still see the chats I focus on when I read the message.

  18. Search / filter team instant messages by date

    Suggestion

    At the moment you can search a team instant message thread by words, poster or team but there is no way for you to search and filter by a date or date 'range'

    Reason

    Many times a members of a chat has mentioned in passing occurrences of an issue that much later I need to pull together to a report. I know the dates or date ranges but it is too hard to guess the exact wording of their post and searching by user/poster returns too many results (most not relevant).

  19. Mark all as read

    Ability to mark all messages as read. We use a texting function from the team messages and in two days I can have 2000 unread messages. My team has gone through these messages so it would help to have a marked all as read function to get them off my list.
