  3. We use Cisco 8861 desk phones. When a call is on hold after pressing the transfer option, if you decide to use the Contacts button to search for a contact, you must press that button, pick what directory to search, enter in your search parameters, press the search button, wait for the results then choose the result you want and press call all within 12 seconds. If you fail to do all of that you get a timeout message and at that point you have to cancel the contact search and resume the call and then try it again and…

  4. Please allow the company directory on VVX450 to show alternative numbers for staff. Currently it only shows their extensions even though we have inputted mobile numbers, alternative landlines etc for each staff member we have. Users are using printed out documents or the ring central app on their phones to pull up alternative numbers for people and then dialling them from the desk phone. A very slow arduous process.

  5. Currently only Key 3 onwards can be changed, however where users are working with lower end Poly phones such as the VVX150, there are only 2 keys and both are reserved for the extension line.Please can we make Key 2 programmable for other extensions or pickup groups?

  6. Current customer with Rooms POC in progress asked this question; Impacts all customers with Room Phone Line add-on licenses. SIde note - this is also an issue for my tester account, receiving multiple spam calls to my demo system daily.

  7. Since my company only has 1 paging extension/device, it would be best to bypass the paging announcement and set the paging button on my polycom vvx 350 phone set to the extension number of the paging device.

  8. Add an interface to allow button templates and customizing phone settings. There is already a provisioning tools setup since anytime you add someone to the HUD it adds a speed dial/monitor button to the Yealink phones.

  10. We are a school district, we have dial in intercom system at each school. Currenly anyone can access them from any all areas. We need this to be changed so that only our internal extensions can access the intercoms and we don't want the Mitel phones to recieve calls from outside the account. This was working with Mitel before we migrate to RingCentral

  11. I have a bunch of Poly E550 phones I bought from Ring Central and I purchased the Poly Expansion module as well. Unfortnately, the expansion module doesn't really work because you can only add up to 48 total lines through Ring Central, although the module can include many more lines, up to like 100 or something much more. It is connecting just find with my E550 but because it's not on Ring Central as an expansion module option, it's not allowing me to use the full potential of the expansion module.   12. I'm testing with the Mitel 480G enrolled in RingCentral.Found that I can start but can't end a call with the speakerphone button. I need to press the Line button.This functionality exists on the Polycom phones.

  14. Shared Lines BLA feature is available to RingCentral MVP Ultimate and Premium accounts only with compatible device such as VVX310, VVX410, VVX500, VVX300, VVX400, VVX600, VVX301,
    VVX311, VVX411, VVX501, VVX601, VVX 350, VVX 450. it would be better if we can also cater all compatible shared line device to have the BLA function. Call can be put on / taken off hold on any phone.

  19. Ring Central sends updates to my Yealink T57w phone. When the update comes in, it resets the admin password back to default. This is a secuirty issue and I get the red triangle error at top of phone screen until I manully change the password from ADMIN back to my password. It happens every update and is very frustrating. Security is low after an update as password defaults.

  20. We need this feature badly. We are deoplying hundreds of new extentions and need this feature for business work flow requirements. Without this it is stopping us from using RingCentral and and force us to consider alternative providers.
