  1. Could RingCentral provide or enable a feature that ensures our toll-free number is always displayed to customers as the caller ID, even if a different number has been selected in the background?     We request the addition of functionality to automatically remove the leading “1” from phone numbers when dialing, particularly for numbers within the United States.

    Rationale:
    Currently, dialing a number with a leading “1” may result in the following error message:

    “I’m sorry, it is not necessary to dial a 1 or 0. When calling this number, please hang up and try your call again.”

    Implementing this feature will prevent users from encountering this error and improve the dialing experience.

  5. BYPASS DELEGATED PHONE Voicemails

    For desk phones that are both Delegated and User assigned.
    We need to have an option to BYPASS the option to select which voice mailbox we want to access.
    There shold be a setting where we can assign USER MAILBOX as the default voice mailbox when checking voicemail

  12. Submitting this on behalf of a customer.

    They’re trying to forward calls to an external vendor line that requires navigating an IVR (like entering an extension). On their mobile phones, they can use pause dialing with commas — for example: 18007370045,7,2509. That way, the call connects, waits briefly, and then automatically sends the extension or DTMF input.

    They tried using that same format in RingCentral call forwarding settings, but it gets flagged as an invalid number.

    Feature request: Add support for comma-style pause dialing (or something similar) in forwarding rules and contacts.

  13. Support "Flying Voice Device" for Assisted Provisioning and on FTA 5111 model

    Device is provisioned manually but the connected Analog device cannot hear audios or media packet.

    The Analog device worked perfectly when connected to a Polycom ATA.

We contacted support checking if there is an easy way to interchange the caller ID on the deskphone for outbound call like in the RC app, we were informed that there is an option in the online account under Outboind / faxes caller id it would be much better if there is an option for to easily choose the caller ID using the keys on the phone

  16. Customer would like the ability to set outbound caller ID for Teams direct routing users from within Teams admin portal using caller ID policy. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/caller-id-policies

    Currently this can only be set within RC admin portal. This is a limitation in scenarios where numbers are assigned to user extensions on RC side with MS teams sync enabled but then assigned to a call queue or IVR on Teams side. In this scenario the number is not available to assign as caller id on RC side for those queue users since it is assigned directly to a user extension.

For the people making multiple calls to different numbers for the same person, I think it would be wonderful to be able to record your desired voicemail once then have an option to play that same recording on multiple different calls. Anytime you record something new it will erase the last one please #letmebelazy
