  2. The calling number is appearing twice on dekphone when the call is originated from IVR Menu to Call queue

    Customer would like to appear it once like when the direct number is being dialed to avoid confusion when they pick up the call.

  3. Request to support deaf users who cannot hear and cannot speak during live RingCentral voice calls. The customer wants the ability to type responses during the call, and for the system to read the text aloud to the hearing person on the other end of the line.

    This feature would allow:

    • Real-time Text-to-Speech conversion of typed messages by the deaf user.
    • Seamless integration with existing captioning/transcription features.
    • The hearing participant to hear the typed messages spoken naturally. Optional voice customization (male/female tone, speed).

I would like a prompt to say that the customer has entered an invalid extension if they do not hit one of our assigned key presses, and then go back to the ivr menu so they can chose a new key press. it seems customers our entering direct extensions so calls will only ring to that extension specifically even if they are on a call or away from their desk resulting in missed calls or voicemails when other team members are available.

  5. We need to be able to see the incoming calls while we are on the phone. We also need to be able to see any calls we missed while on the phone, and who answered the call (if anyone answered), or if the entire team missed, so that we know who has been serviced and who needs to be called back.

  6. Public instutions most often demand additional survivability - on top of already existing redundancy options. They most often run critical infrastructures in order to still serve citizens especially in natural catastrophes and escalations to keep life and security operatiing.

    Currently Germany is not supported by Persist but it should like currently France or Netherland. Please add this country extension.

  9. I have multiple numbers, when a client texts or calls one of those numbers I want my reply text or call to automatically show from the same number they contacted. Right now I have to manually change which number to send from I often send from the wrong number as a result

  10. Requesting support for T9 (predictive text) search functionality in the contact directory and call history on Cisco CP-8851 and Polycom VVX-450 desk phones. This feature would significantly enhance the user experience by allowing faster and more efficient contact lookup using the keypad, especially for users without touchscreen models. Enabling T9 search would align these devices with modern dialing expectations and improve overall usability for large contact lists.

  12. I have to post my number and I’m often overwhelmed by calls. I have to be able to answer it at times to verify my identity. So something like a secret extension would be great.

  13. RE: Google Voice Numbers
    When a google voice number is forwarded to a Call Queue WITH A CALL GREETING, the call does not come thru to us because the google system wants the #1 to be pressed.
    The suggestion is that the RC system has a preference that can be toggled on that would press #1 automatically when a call comes in so that it can continue thru the system, ring our phones and we can pick up.
    I tested extensively with Ellie and with Sinch your provider. Please look up those notes.

  14. Currently when RingCentral forwards a call it does not distinguish on my mobile whether it is a personal call to my cell or a forwarded call from work. The ability to distinguish whether it’s a call from my vet vs a patient call would be very helpful.

  15. We have the need to direct multiple inbound calls from different phone numbers to one extension that links to our on-prem call center system. We have created a user that represents the call center and set it up as a SIP device. That virtual user has two phone numbers associated with it, a placeholder local number which is not published to the public, and a toll free number representing our company's primary contact point and access to call center agents.
